Hello, I am Joanne

 

Every home life is different, yet the balance of learning, growth and family life can feel challenging at times. I am passionate about discovery and about linking everyday adventures with a child’s development so that both feel connected and natural.

As a parent and trained teacher I have a deep belief that learning should be meaningful, creative and confidence-building.

Over the years I have supported hundreds of children in schools, at home and through themed learning in different environments. What I have seen again and again is that when children feel excited and curious, their confidence grows and so does their love of learning. This belief is at the heart of Growing Young Minds Home Learning.

I started Growing Young Minds in 2016, I wanted to teach differently, breaking learning down into fun bite-sized chunks and raising children's learning confidence. Today we have grown and help countless children each year with our unique focus on thinking skills and no shoes policy. 

However, in 2019 I discovered the wonderful world of Home Education, where learning was truly personalised and creative. I began by producing and providing resources for free before I started selling them on Etsy. Since then our resources have reached hundreds of families around the world. Selling over 400 on Etsy alone and gaining many 5 star reviews.

With parents describing our learning resources as beautifully designed, easy to use and inspiring for their children.
