About Growing Young Minds Home Learning

I am Joanne, a qualified teacher and parent who believe education should build confidence and curiosity while fitting into real family life.

In 2016 I started Growing Young Minds, this focuses on boosting children confidence and developing thinking skills. We have a quirky no shoe learning policy and think that every lesson should be full of laughter alongside learning. During the years we have helped hundreds of children gain confidence and love learning.

In 2019, I discovered the wonderful world of Home Education, I loved the flexibility of learning and how child led it was. Inspired, it bought out an old passion, and I began writing themed learning plans to support parents and children build skills on their terms. As this community grew, so did the resources we provided.

I know, from working with parents and teachers in school that it can be challenging it can be to cover different learning opportunities in one theme, especially when your child’s interests change week to week. However, I am passionate about working with families to support learning.

So, Growing Young Minds mission is simple, we are here to:
